This program is for families that value the importance of play and promoting positive social and emotional skills. Hello Families,

My name is Katie, and this page is to showcase some of the fun we have in my in-home child care program. I have my degree in Early Childhood Education, and have four years of experience working in a center prior to opening my own program. The last position I held was as an Assistant Director, but I worked as a Teacher for two and a half years. In addition, I complete annual training that allow me to foster the individual growth of the children in my care. I love working with children and watching them grow each day. I truly understand the importance of providing exceptional learning in the early years, and couldn't image not being apart of that early learning. I incorporate different learning centers in my program setting to engage in each learning domain. My program is set up as a typical center layout, but has all the benefits of home child care. To list a few: one caregiver, lower ratio's, affordable cost, mixed age groups. I am open from 7:30am to 5:30pm Monday through Friday. I offer a structured daily schedule and use Mother Goose Time curriculum to ensure consistency and freedom to grow in welcoming and fun learning environment. I partner with the state food program, which allows me to serve Breakfast, Lunch, and Snack that meets the nutritious needs of each child daily. Currently my program is rated 3 Stars with Parent Aware. This means aside from being Licensed I undergo additional quality ratings. We engage in many different activities that challenges children to grow and use their curiosity to develop skills needed in life. I view play as the best way for children to learn. We have busy days learning through structured and free play. I have limited spots available, but am interested in meeting new families to join my program.
