Fences opens this Wednesday with a 2pm matinee performance. A guest panel of artists will be available after the performanace to discuss the play. Guest panel members include James Williams (founding member of Penumbra Theatre), Danny Clark (professional actor), Richad D. Howell Jr. (senior pastor of Shiloh Temple International Ministries in Minneapolis), and Whitney Steward Harris (Executive Diretor of Diversity for MCTC).

Nathan Williams (Joe Crowell, Si Crowell, Baseball Player) graduated from Burnett High School in Burnett, Texas. This is his second semester attending NHCC and the first play he has been in. He is quite eager to see how it will turn out. His plan for the future is to complete the generals here at NHCC, and then transfer to the U of M to major in dance. All of his time is spent on school work and dancing.

Amelia Utecht (Woman in the Balcony, Baseball Player) is a graduate from Rogers High, and she was in You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown last spring. She loves the theatre and books. Amelia is hoping to be a librarian.

Mark Stewart (George Gibbs) is a graduate of Elk River High School and he is in his third and final year at NHCC. He will be gradating next spring with an AFA degree in Theatre Arts and an AA degree. He was last seen on the NHCC stage as Aramis in The Three Musketeer and Theatre Maenad's production of Rumors. He would like to thank his family and friends for all their support through the years.

Nathan Smith (Wally Webb) graduated from Wayzata High School in 2007. This is his first semester at NHCC. He has not been in any production since he was a little kid. H is now studying theatre and hopes to go into film acting.

Jenny Reierson (Mrs. Gibbs) is currently pursuing her AFA degree in Theatre Arts at NHCC, where she has performed roles in Avenue Q, The Three Musketeers, and Bat Boy. Jenny has been acting in the Minneapolis theatre scene for a number of years, recently performing in Footloose, Oklahoma, and this year's MN Fringe Festival.

John Naumann (Dr. Gibbs) is in his fifth show at NHCC. Previous recent credits at NHCC include Avenue Q and The Three Musketeers. John is pursuing an AFA in Theatre Arts with plans to transfer to a University for a BA. John thanks all his friends and family for their love and support.

Zach Miller (Production Stage Manager) is in his last semester at NHCC before heading to Metro State for a BA in Theatre Arts. Zach is an actor, but he has enjoyed this new experience. Enjoy the show!

Amanda Miller (Mrs. Webb) graduated from Park Center High School. This is her third year at NHCC, and she plans to graduate with her AA and AFA in the spring. She was previously in The Three Musketeers, and the Bat Boy at NHCC. Amanda is interested in crafting and tweeting. She is happy to be a part of this cast!

Mitch McIntyre (Mr. Webb) graduated from Champlin Park High School in 2012. After Graduation, he attended the University of St. Thomas for one year, studying Actuarial Science. This is his first semester here at NHCC and his first production here. He is now a Theatre Arts major and wishes to pursue acting professional. Some of his other interests including watching movies, working out, and being involved in sports.
