Hennepin Technical College in Brooklyn Park is celebrating one of its students. Joni Mack was recently named Student Chef of the Year by the local chapter of the American Culinary Federation. Her achievement is made more remarkable because it comes in retirement after a lengthy career in elementary school teaching.

In the Culinary competition Dansel Stanley won Gold and Lexi Mather won Bronze! In our Commercial Baking competition, Annette Bruscino won Silver and Lizzy Gunter won Bronze.

Our other student competitors, Joshua Brooks, Patrick Kugmeh, Arielle Pennertz and Lydia Starkey did such an amazing job.
