What a wonderful evening celebrating the Rotary Club of Brooklyn Park MN Charter Night at Lynde's Restaurant & Catering Osseo, MN Great food, lots of laughs, wonderful conversations, and the opportunity to recognize some truly deserving Rotarians.

Congratulations to our award recipients:

🏆 Larry Woelflin – Special Recognition Award for his many years of leadership in making our Annual Beerfest such a success and for the significant contributions it has generated for local community charities.

A heartfelt thank you to Shalin Johnson for his outstanding leadership as President during the 2025–2026 Rotary year. Shalin represented the very best of what it means to be a Rotarian—with dedication, service, friendship, and enthusiasm every step of the way. Well done, Prez!

Shalin also welcomed incoming President Larry Woelflin as he officially passed the gavel. We look forward to another great year of fellowship, service, and making a positive impact in our community under Larry's leadership.

Students Connecting Through International Service (SCTIS) founder Tammie Epley and the U.S. 5th Grade Ambassadors joined the Rotary Club of Brooklyn Park breakfast meeting @ Lynde's Restaurant & Catering Osseo, MN this morning to share an inspiring update on their recent delivery of school supplies to children in Sasabe, Mexico.

Tammie always does a wonderful job of returning to share how the support of local sponsors, community partners, and organizations like Rotary helps make these efforts possible. Hearing directly from the students and learning about the impact of their service makes for a truly heartwarming presentation.

The Rotary Club of Brooklyn Park is proud to support SCTIS and its mission of connecting students through service, leadership, and global citizenship.

Thank you, Tammie, the student ambassadors, parents, and volunteers for reminding us that even small acts of kindness can make a big difference.

We are meeting this Wednesday (June 10) and welcoming Tammie Epley and this year’s students from the Students Connecting Through International Service program!

The Rotary Club of Brooklyn Park will be represented at this special District 5950 event as we join fellow Rotarians in welcoming our new District Governor. Looking forward to a great evening of fellowship and celebration!

We always enjoy welcoming Tim Mulcrone back to the Rotary Club of Brooklyn Park MN, and today was no exception!

Tim, Rotary District 5950 PolioPlus Chair since 2012, is a 32-year Rotarian from Chanhassen and a three-time Rotary Club President. He has dedicated countless hours to keeping Rotary's mission to eradicate polio at the forefront and is a passionate advocate for the End Polio Now campaign.

During today's breakfast meeting, Tim shared updates on the tremendous progress being made worldwide. Thanks to Rotary and its global partners, polio cases have been reduced by 99.9%. While we are closer than ever, the work continues until polio is eradicated everywhere.

Thank you, Tim, for your continued leadership, dedication, and commitment to helping Rotary finish the job.

Members from Rotary District 5950, MN Rotary Club of Area 4 gathered tonight for a fun pizza night filled with connection, collaboration, and community spirit at Frankie's Pizza in New Hope. It was a great opportunity to meet and connect with members from Rotary Clubs including Center Rotary Club, Rotary Club of Brooklyn Park MN, Rotary Club of Crystal-New Hope-Robbinsdale, Valley Rotary Club, and St. Louis Park Rotary Club!

Mary Timmons did a great job sharing the purpose of the meeting, which focused on connection, service and impact! Then each club president or a club member shared highlights of how their club is serving the community, and we were especially proud of our own Brooklyn Park Rotary President, Shalin Johnson, who did a fantastic job showcasing the many meaningful efforts and events our club has supported over the past year.

Rotary is a great way to build lasting friendships while making a positive impact in the community. Come join us!
