Hello! Are you looking for a fun summer activity for your little one?

My name is Miss Kerry and I am a dance and preschool teacher. During the summer I share my time between Belmar and Brooklyn Heights where I teach dance and preschool activites at NYKidsClub and also teach my private classes with my own dance company ‘The Flamingo Movement Dance Company’.

I plan to start teaching classes in the Belmar, Spring Lake, Sea Girt, Manasquan, Brielle, Pt Pleasant++ areas on Thursday, Friday and Saturday mornings! I generally teach outside in parks, pavilions, private backyards and the beach and boardwalk are also a possibility! Virtual/Zoom classes are also available if you are traveling!

I will continue to teach my regular classes in Brooklyn Heights on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday for all of my existing dance families!!❤️

I am happy to teach private classes with you and your friends in your home or garden and I also do Birthday Parties customized to your theme!

I am a graduate of The Catholic University in DC with a degree in Musical Theater. I have been teaching for over 10 years and my students are usually infants through 7 years old. I offer fun classes in Creative Movement, Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Combo classes and Mommy and Me for little ones.

I would love to hear from you if you would like explore setting up a class near you for your little one and their friends! I am also open to suggestions for a park or setting that would be a perfect, shady and safe place for holding a class.

IT'S TIME TO SIGN YOUR DANCER UP FOR MISS KERRY'S SUMMER DANCE CLASSES!

Miss Kerry's new Summer Schedule is posted below. I am offering a variety of time slots and classes, however, if I do not have at least 4 dancers registered per class the class may not run, so sign up early!! Dance genres and age ranges that are currently listed are flexible at this point, so here is your chance to customize your dancers summer dance experience!

I will be teaching my classes this summer on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday beginning the week of June 5.

I have been mainly teaching on the Remsen Street Cul-de-sac and Brooklyn Heights Promenade but I am open to exploring other locations as well. *ideas: Cadman / Walt Whitman Park, Brooklyn Bridge Park, the train park, family patios and rooftops, residence building yoga rooms and I am happy to explore other parks and locations to change things up for the summer! Please let me know if you have special requests! I am also happy to offer special Zoom/Virtual Dance classes while you are at your Vacation home or visiting Grandma! Just ask!

Spring is so close and with Summer right around the corner, I know most of you are planning your Spring classes and Summer Camp schedules so I wanted to reach out to everyone to share my class schedule and ask if you have any requests for new dance classes.

I am in the process of putting together my Summer dance schedule and making some updates to my Spring schedule and will take into account everyone's requests as I plan! Please message me here or send me an email at [email protected] and let me know what days, times and genres of dance your dancer would be interested in and I will try to accommodate and create classes around your scheduling needs!!
