Dear BEEP Community.
It was with gratitude and sadness that I have submitted my intent to retire at the close of the school year (June 30). I have been gifted with so many wonderful experiences in this community that it is hard to measure. Most importantly, I have worked in a school system that both appreciated and embraced the importance of early education and its role it plays in ensuring positive outcomes for our children.
To my BEEP colleagues:I have spent my years in Brookline surrounded by the most extraordinary professionals in the world of early education. Without each and every one, BEEP would not have made the impact it has both in Brookline and around the world. I have seen your outreach as you have embraced every child and reassured every family with your attention to their needs as well as their child's. My admiration for your work knows no bounds, and my appreciation for your spirit has uplifted me in the most trying of times.
To my BEEP families: Every drop off, pick up and classroom event has brought us together as partners in the education of your children. I have always been grateful for your trust and privileged to serve as an Early Education Principal in a community where families support us with a generous spirit and an endless commitment to our goals. We are a strong community because no child is turned away due to a special need or a family’s ability to pay. At the same time we have maintained the high quality of early education at our core with adaptations, modifications and enhancements to meet the needs of every child in our care. I am proud to say that we welcome educators from all over the globe to observe the magic of BEEP classrooms. How fortunate I feel to have been a part of such a rich community of Brookline families!
Thank you all for the most wonderful years of work an early educator could dream of. It has been a privilege to be among you through all of the changes, challenges, achievements and joy. My heart will be with you as we say goodbye at the close of this school year.
Much Love,
Vicki
