๐Ÿ•ฏ๏ธ Today, our Middle and Upper School students came together to ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—บ๐—ฒ๐—บ๐—ฏ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ October 7, honor those we lost and those who served, and reflect on the values we can carry forward.

Through personal stories, meaningful reflection, and time together as a community, students had the opportunity to listen, learn, and connect. Our shlichim, Shira and Yedidyah Meuchas, shared their experiences from October 7 and the days that followed, while Hadar, our shlicha, shared about her Sherut Leumi, supporting children who had lost their parents.

Our students responded with thoughtfulness, respect, and care, creating meaningful moments of ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—บ๐—ฒ๐—บ๐—ฏ๐—ฟ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฐ๐—ฒ and connection throughout the day. ๐Ÿ•ฏ๏ธ๐Ÿ’™

๐Ÿ™๐ŸŒฟ Thereโ€™s something special about starting the day together.

Every morning at Maimo, our students begin their day with tefillah. In Middle and Upper School, students come together in the shul to daven.

During Sukkot, those mornings take on an extra sense of joy. Hearing our students sing Hallel and Hoshanot together, surrounded by friends, teachers, lulavim and etrogim, is a beautiful reminder of what it means to learn, celebrate, and live Jewishly together. ๐Ÿ’™
