Rajarshi Mandal, an RSM student for over 10 years, was awarded the Davidson Fellows Scholarship, and we are so proud of his incredible achievement! 🚀

💫Rajarshi was recognized for his innovative research in malaria prevention. He developed a mathematical model to determine how insecticide-treated mosquito nets can be distributed where they could have the greatest impact. Rajarshi has attended both RSM Lexington and RSM Math Competition classes and plans to study mathematics and computer science in college.

His talents extend well beyond math and science. A rising junior at Lexington High School, he is an accomplished pianist who has performed twice at Carnegie Hall and holds a black belt in karate.

Davidson Fellows Scholarship is one of the nation’s most prestigious honors for students 18 and younger. This offers college scholarships to students who have completed significant projects that have the potential to benefit society in the fields of science, technology, engineering, mathematics, literature and music.🏆
