What a wonderful experience!

I was thrilled to be invited back this year to teach a four-week course through the MTA focused on proactive behavior support in school settings.

The response was amazing—the course filled, and we even had a waitlist! Seeing so many educators eager to strengthen the way they understand and respond to behavior was incredibly encouraging.

Throughout the course, teachers gained practical strategies, helpful resources, and tools they can bring directly into their classrooms. Hearing that educators felt supported and ready to put what they learned into action was the best part of the experience.

I’m so grateful to the MTA for this opportunity and to every educator who participated. This is why I love the work I do: real classrooms, real kids, and real change.

🎙️ It's official—my episode of Liz on Biz is live!

What a fun conversation with Liz! We talked about everything from the story behind starting Education Advisors to the "spicy nuggets" that shaped my journey from classroom teacher to educational consultant and children's author.

School budgets are more than numbers on a spreadsheet — they directly impact the students sitting in our classrooms every single day.

When budget cuts happen, they rarely happen at the top. Instead, they often affect the very supports students rely on most: behavioral services, intervention staff, paraprofessionals, counseling, special education resources, and classroom support systems.

The reality is simple: students pay the price when schools are forced to do more with less.

That’s why it’s so important for communities to pay attention when school districts present their budgets and advocate for the funding our schools truly need. These decisions shape not only the learning environment, but also the emotional, behavioral, and academic success of our children.

Supporting school budgets means supporting students, educators, and the future of our communities.

Because every child deserves access to the support they need to thrive — not just survive.
