The McComish Department of Electrical Engineering & Computer Science is seeking a Metzger Endowed Educator in Power Systems Engineering. This isn't just a faculty position it's a chance to shape the future of power systems education while leading our historic Center for Power Systems Studies, founded in 1968.
We're looking for someone with deep industry expertise who's passionate about mentoring the next generation of power engineers. You'll teach undergraduate courses, supervise senior design projects, strengthen our industry partnerships, and help connect students with meaningful career opportunities.
Our Power and Energy Program has already made significant impact with $5M in research funding, 15 undergraduate researchers, and 9 PhD students and we're ready to grow even further with the right leader.
What we need: B.S. in Electrical Engineering + 5 years of progressive U.S. power industry experience (with PE or relevant certification) OR M.S. + 3 years of industry experience
