Are you an incoming 7th or 8th Grader interested in playing Volleyball? The tryout is next Thursday, Sept. 3rd, from 4:15 to 5:45 p.m. If you can not make the tryout day, and are interested in playing, please contact the coaches ASAP.

• Sept. 4, 2 p.m. — Welcome Back Assembly
• Sept. 7 — No School: Labor Day
• Sept. 9 — Picture Day
• Sept. 16, 4:30–7 p.m. — AMS Open House
• Sept. 22 — Vision Screening

Free Summer Meals Week 3!

On the lunch menu this week in the Brookings-Harbor High School cafeteria:
Monday, July 6 - Chicken on a bun/PBJ option
Tuesday, July 7 - Beef enchilada cassarole
Wednesday, July 8 - Cheese bread with marinara
Thursday, July 9 - Turkey sub with chips

Meals are free for all children ages 1–18. Parents, guardians, family members, siblings, and babysitters are welcome to join for $6 for lunch or $4 for breakfast. All meals are to-go! Outside seating available. When you come through you can pick up lunch for the day, a breakfast for the next day, and a snack pack (while supplies last). Please enter by the Brookings-Harbor High School back parking lot and look for the big banner.

Free Summer Meals program starts tomorrow! 10:45 AM to 12:15 PM in the Brookings-Harbor High School Cafeteria. Get lunch and pick up breakfast for the next day. Free for ages 1-18! Parents/adults that wish to dine ($6).

Exciting news from AMS Track & Field Coach Karissa from the Oregon Middle School Meet of Champions this past Friday:

Bruins have another state champ on our hands! Tyler Camp won the 100m Hurdles with an amazing time and Personal record of 14.05 seconds. He also took third in the 200m Hurdles.

Leila Newman took 10th on the 800 with a season-best time of 2:28.47 and finished in the 1500 with a time of 5:77.17

Max Petrie took 10th in the Pole vault with a vault of 7'6"

Beckham Katavich competed in the 200m Hurdles and ran a time of 33.56
