Sight word catch. He would say the word then throw the ball. Then I would throw it back to him. We started at the end of the hallway and worked our way back into the classroom. Parent has sign a video and photo waiver.

During Session 2, our primary focus will be on enhancing reading skills through decoding and sight words. Given his expressed interest in interactive learning, a word hunt activity was devised, incorporating concealed words on popsicle sticks to create an engaging experience. Following this exercise, we proceeded with our scheduled lesson, which included reading aloud a narrative that strategically incorporated words containing 'ee' and 'ea' sounds to reinforce phonetic awareness. To accommodate his kinesthetic learning style and difficulty with remaining seated, provisions were made for him to read aloud while moving about the room.

The day's mathematics lesson began with a review of the conversion process from mixed numbers to improper fractions. She greatly enjoyed the challenge of trying to work as quickly as she could.

A blog post is now available on strategies to transition your child into school mode and prepare them for the first day of the new academic year. Additionally, two more ideas are being developed: methods to encourage reading among students, set to be published tomorrow afternoon, and the importance of sleep and screen time management for achieving success in school.
