South Dakota State University - Institute for STEM Education Enhancement ISEE was created by a group of faculty collaborating on various STEM activities.

The mission of ISEE is to facilitate effective SDSU, P-20, and community partnerships in order to enhance the quality of science and mathematics education, research, and to further the development of a robust STEM education pipeline. The overarching goal of the Institute for STEM Education Enhancement (ISEE) is to further the development of a robust STEM education pipeline with an emphasis on rura

l STEM education. The advisory board for ISEE includes the University Provost, and the deans of Agricultural and Biological Sciences, Arts and Sciences, Education and Human Sciences, and Engineering. While there is a core group of faculty involved in ISEE, we welcome anyone interested in STEM Education to join our effort. This initiative provides a focal point across the sponsoring colleges and their respective departments and faculties to promote, innovate, and grow P-20 STEM education. This will allow SDSU to attract more students into STEM education careers, to be more competitive for STEM education extramural grants, and to provide research derived best-practices-based STEM education and outreach to stakeholders.
