Welcome, welcome, everyone!! ACT is so excited to meet all of our new friends and welcome back those who have been with us for a while!

We hope everyone had a fantastic summer, whether it included an internship, relaxing by the pool, working, or just getting ready to come back to our awesome campus!

We invite you all to come create a yummy dirty soda with us on Wednesday, September 2nd, from 6–8 p.m.! You can find us in the yard between Yeager Hall and Military Science.

Bring a chair and/or blanket and get ready for some competitive yard games!

What’s Critique and Contest?

Critique & Contest is the national communications and journalism competition for ACT members. This contest allows students the opportunity to have their work analyzed by professionals and judged against members across the nation. Divisions include Writing, Publication, Electronic Media, Photography, Design and Layout, and Public Relations.

Last week ACT had a great time listening and visiting with Janelle Atyeo. Janelle gave good insight into her daily life as an editor for the Tri-State Neighbor and the Midwest Messenger!
