The Brookings FCCLA Chapter is holding a fundraiser to help raise money for our local Community Service projects and to help students with competitions and travel expenses. If you are looking ahead at Christmas gifts this company has some really fun items and the bags are great quality.

Brookiings FCCLA has a lot to celebrate after NLC 2017! Andrew Rasmussen was selected to serve as the 2017-18 National Vice President of Programs, Kayla Gullickson finished a successful term as the Vice President of Community Service, the quiz bowl team took 2nd in the nation, four of five STAR Events received gold ratings...two placed 3rd in the nation and one placed 7th, and four members presented workshops to their peers. All in all a very successful national meeting with a great group of kids! Way to go Brookings FCCLA! So proud of you!

I'd like to appeal to all FCCLA alumni to consider giving back to the organization. Many of you received a lot of great benefits from being in this organization. The National Board of Directors has decided that as of NLC 2018 attending members will wear the red blazer as part of the required national dress code. The Brookings Chapter strongly supports this effort to help create a united identity for FCCLA. Our student leaders are among the best, brightest and most giving people I have had the pleasure to work with and I am proud of every member I have had the opportunity to advise! The cost of a blazer is only $60. Please consider donating one to your former chapter, state association, or you can give nationally by participating in . Today is - and for FCCLA it is ! We really hope you'll be a part of reaching our goal of $2,018 which represents FCCLA uniting in Red in 2018. One of the most recognizable features of our organization is our signature color and the pride of wearing the official red blazer.
