My mom is 95, and today we biked to Breukelen for coffee and a Belgian waffle with warm cherries.

Learning to ride a bike isn’t just about learning a skill. It’s about independence, adventure, and the simple joy of feeling the wind in your face — whether you’re 5 or 95.

That feeling never gets old.

We believe in the power of the Bike Bus: building confidence, independence, community, and showing that there is real demand for safe ways for kids to get around on two wheels.

Every visit to the Netherlands reminds me what a gift it is to grow up where cycling is second nature.

One more reason to learn to ride! 🚴‍♀️ Vacations open up when you’re comfortable on a bike. This incredible ride on Vermont’s Island Line Trail even includes a short 200-foot ferry crossing across the gap in the causeway. Safe bike paths, breathtaking views, and unforgettable family memories.
