Today, BSD Polymer Science and Botany/Zoology students received insights from 2018 BHS graduate, Christopher Robinson, currently a 4th-year Harvard Medical School student. Chris stressed the importance of our students challenging themselves now through soaking up tougher courses to develop a strong foundation for college and beyond. He encouraged students to focus on academics, yet diversify by pursuing their passions and serving others, all endeavors that can set you apart from others in application processes. Chris also described college/med school experiences.

BTC’s Polymer Science I & II and Engineering students heard from 2 more PS 2019-2021 grads this week before their classes start. Both ladies stressed the importance of learning how to learn, challenging yourself NOW to make college coursework more manageable, and finding balance in life. Many thanks to Leslie Williamson (Sr MSU - Civil Engineering with Environmental focus) and Sarah McDonald (Sr USM Biology, Marine Biologist MS candidate) for taking the time to share insights with our students.
