Beloved local artist Reynaldo Hernández (best known for his Mural of Peace along I-94) created this striking six-panel mural for the entrance of Hillside Elementary in 1993, where it was seen by thousands. Even though Hillside closed in 2012, the impact of this piece lives on in generations of students and staff. Preserving this artwork honors Hernández’s contribution to our community and the generations of students who grew up with it.

The Elmbrook Parent Network is proud to bring this event to everyone in our community! Join us to hear from Deanna Marincic from the GALS Institute, who will share evidence-based strategies, practical tools to address school avoidance, and ways to support your child's well-being.

Julian Rhee, a professional violinist and member of the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, is a proud graduate of Brookfield East’s Class of 2018. He is currently developing a chamber music festival in Milwaukee, set to launch in fall 2027.
