Completing their study of the tragic events on September 11, 2001 during social studies class, the 7th grade students created found poetry. Using their watercolor paintings, created during a meditation on 9.11, words and phrases were organized into powerful works of art. A gallery walk afforded students the opportunity to silently and positively comment on the work of their peers. From the ashes of September 11, 2001, we remember the lives lost, the heroes who served, and the hope that carried us forward. May God continue to bless the United States of America.

🎉 Congratulations to the 2026 National Merit Semifinalists at Marquette High School! We are especially proud to celebrate that one of these outstanding students is a St. Dominic alum! 💙

Congratulations to our 2026 National Merit Semifinalists!

Seven Marquette High seniors earned the distinction of National Merit Semifinalist, placing them among the highest-scoring students in Wisconsin and across the country.

This year’s semifinalists are (L-R): Top row: Gavin Bartz, Isaac Neumann, Connor Meier, Thomas Petrucci; bottom row: Cash Brunner, Guy Johnson and Finn Daily.

The National Merit Scholarship Program recognizes students based on their performance on the PSAT/NMSQT taken during their junior year. Semifinalists represent less than 1% of U.S. high school seniors nationwide.

Congratulations to these Hilltoppers on this outstanding academic achievement!

The Class of 2027 has been doing some beautiful reflecting and their Suitcase Projects on display in the PAAC now through September 17th.

The students show layers of their lives represented in these suitcases...the people, experiences, places, beliefs, and moments that shape who they are. More importantly, you’ll see their reflection on the ways we are interconnected as people of faith and as people who each have a role to play in modern history. Enjoy...and thank you to the 8th grade class for helping us remember, reflect, and connect.
