In the past decade, private school voucher spending across the U.S. has exploded — without regard for the detrimental effects on students, families and communities.

As we head into the new year, it is more important than ever to stay informed about where public dollars go.

Students with disabilities need a little extra support to get the full, inclusive education our constitution guarantees them. But the Wisconsin legislature has underfunded support for children with disabilities, and our students are paying the price.

RECERTIFICATION
NOVEMBER 5-25
Vote YES to RECERTIFY so educators continue to
have a voice on cost-of-living pay increases and
other issues to make our schools even better.
Educators must vote every year to recertify our local
education association. To win, 51% of all eligible voters
must vote YES. If you don’t vote, it’s counted as a no.
Everyone in our bargaining unit is an eligible voter,
whether they are union members or not.
Be sure to confirm that your vote has been successfully
processed before leaving the site or hanging up the call.
