We are so excited to welcome Ms. Kayla to the Mosaic Creative Studios team!

Kayla brings more than eight years of experience as a dance educator, coach, choreographer, and mentor, along with extensive training in ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, lyrical, and contemporary dance. She has coached competitive teams at the regional and national levels, created award-winning choreography, and worked with dancers of all ages and skill levels.

And now she is bringing all of that experience to our Mosaic students!

Kayla will be teaching three Saturday dance classes, designed specifically for each age and developmental level. Our goal is to help our theatre students strengthen their technique, build confidence in choreography, and become even more well-rounded performers on stage.

Mainstage Players: 9:30–10:30 AM
Emerging Artists + Pre-Pro: 11:00 AM–12:00 PM, with an emphasis on tap

Ready to go behind AND in front of the camera?
Our Film Production TRY IT Class is a preview of the Film Production program coming to Mosaic this November! Students ages 9–12 will get hands-on experience with different parts of filmmaking, including acting, directing, filming, and editing, while learning what it takes to bring a story to life on screen.

This Friday is our FIRST Triple Threat Pop-Up, and we are so excited to be exploring HAIRSPRAY!

This Broadway favorite is set in 1960s Baltimore and follows Tracy Turnblad, a teenager with big dreams of dancing on a popular TV show. Along the way, it tackles friendship, confidence, inclusion and standing up for what’s right—all with BIG characters, incredible music and tons of high-energy dancing.

It’s also the perfect show for a Triple Threat experience! Students will work on all three areas of musical theater—singing, acting and dancing—as they learn songs, choreography and scenes from the show.

Last chance to register for our Theater Tech TRY IT Class tomorrow, Monday, September 14!

This TRY IT Class is a preview of our Theater Tech program beginning this November at Mosaic Creative Studios. It’s the perfect opportunity for students to experience the class, get hands-on with theater tech, and see if the full program is the right fit for them!

Students will explore stage management, prop building, set and lighting design, sound engineering, stage makeup, crew management, and more.

Whether your child wants to step into the spotlight, head backstage, try improv, get crafty or spend the day with us at Mamma Mia!, our September pop-ups are a great way to experience Mosaic without committing to a full production.
