📩 A message from our director 📩
Dear Camp Greenknoll Families,
With the start of the new school year already upon us, it’s hard to believe how quickly the summer went!
I wanted to take a moment to simply say thank you.
It was amazing to watch our campers grow from the beginning of the summer to the end, even those who were only with us for part of the season. We had our challenges along the way, but your campers always found a way to “Keep Calm and Camp On!”
We celebrated many birthdays, some with a cha-cha-cha and some without a cha-cha-cha! We celebrated swim promotions as campers moved from red, to yellow, to orange, and finally to their green necklaces. For some campers, we celebrated climbing the climbing wall for the very first time. We watched smiling faces zip down the zipline, and we always remembered to “drink our sunscreen and apply our water.” Your camper will know exactly what that means!
Our CITs also had an incredible summer. They learned new skills, took on new responsibilities, and discovered just how responsible and capable they truly are.
Most importantly, we watched campers make new friends, try new things, build confidence, laugh, and create memories that will hopefully stay with them for years to come.
I hope all of our campers have a wonderful and successful school year. I can’t wait to see them again next summer!
On behalf of the entire Camp Greenknoll Leadership Team, support staff, our lifeguards, counselors, and Specialist staff, thank you for trusting us with your campers.
It is a privilege that we never take for granted.
