We LOVE having Abe as part of the Brookfield Academy family. You can spot him at almost every event - cheering on our sports teams, high-fiving everyone in sight, and spreading Brookfield Academy spirit wherever he goes.

To celebrate National Mascot Day, we wanted to share a few fun facts about Abe!

Did you know...

💙 Abe's name is a nod to Brookfield Academy's original name, the Academy of Basic Education (A.B.E.)! How cool is that? The Academy of Basic Education officially became Brookfield Academy in 1978.

💛 Abe officially joined the BA family as our mascot in 2024, making him relatively new to the BA family!

💙 Abe stands a whopping 7+ feet tall (though that may vary a little from season to season)!

Next time you see Abe, be sure to give him a high five - he's an important part of the BA family too!

From Little Knights to graduates preparing for their next chapter, the American flag is a familiar and meaningful part of life at Brookfield Academy.

On Flag Day, we celebrate the ideals it represents—freedom, opportunity, responsibility, and service—and the many generations of students who have learned beneath its colors.

May we never take for granted the freedoms that make it possible for young people to learn, dream, and build bright futures.

We are grateful for all the individuals who have worked to preserve these freedoms for future generations.

We're excited to be part of Village of Brookfield Kids Fest this year, right here in our community!

Stop by the Brookfield Academy booth to say hello, meet some of our students and faculty, and learn more about what makes BA such a special place. We'll also have a fun craft activity for children to enjoy throughout the day.

Kids Fest is a free family friendly event filled with hands on activities, local vendors, entertainment, and plenty of fun for all ages. Bring your friends, bring your family, and spend the day exploring everything the festival has to offer.
