πΊπΈ Happy Flag Day!
Did you know Flag Day began right here in Wisconsin? In 1885, a Wisconsin teacher encouraged his students to reflect on what the American flag meant to them, sparking a tradition that would become a national observance.
At Wildcard Gymnastics, weβre proud of our Wisconsin roots and the values we work to build every day: dedication, perseverance, and pride in representing something bigger than ourselves.
Whether itβs wearing red, white, and blue or purple and teal, we stand tall for our team, our community, and each other.

β¨ Pointed toes may seem like a small detail, but in gymnastics, the little things make a big difference.
Every stretched knee, every pointed toe, and every finished position helps turn a good routine into a polished routine.
At Wildcard, we know excellence is built one detail at a time. ππ

In gymnastics, it's easy to celebrate the medals, the new skills, the level advancements, and the big accomplishments.
But what often gets overlooked is everything that happens in between.
The extra turns after practice. The fear that has to be faced before trying a new skill. The falls, the frustrations, the mental blocks, the days when progress feels impossible, and the courage it takes to come back and try again.
Gymnastics teaches far more than handstands, cartwheels, and routines. It teaches perseverance. Patience. Confidence. It teaches athletes how to work through challenges and keep moving forward, even when the path isn't easy.
As adults, coaches, and parents, it's important to remember that our gymnasts are more than their scores, placements, levels, or achievements. Their value isn't determined by a podium finish, a judges' score, or how quickly they reach the next milestone.
What matters most is who they're becoming along the way.
The gymnast who keeps showing up.
The gymnast who encourages a teammate.
The gymnast who tries again after falling.
The gymnast who refuses to quit.
To every gymnast reading this:
You are enough.
You are capable.
You are stronger than you realize.
You belong here.
And no matter where you are in your journey, your story is still being written. πβ

ππ Memorial Day Parade Update ππ
We have some disappointing news. Unfortunately, the new Memorial Day leotards and shirts that were ordered for the parade have been delayed in shipping and will not arrive Tuesday. We know many of you were excited to receive them, and we share your frustration. We placed the order with the expectation that it would arrive in time for Mondayβs parade and are very disappointed that it will not.
For the parade, please have your athlete wear their exhibition attire from previous years. If your athlete does not have previous exhibition attire, please reach out and we will do our best to help find a solution.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate everyoneβs understanding and flexibility. We are working with the supplier regarding the delay and will distribute the new items as soon as they arrive.
Thank you for your patience, and we look forward to representing Wildcard together on Monday! ππ
