Teaching truly is a work of heart. We don't do it for recognition, but last week we were absolutely showered with gratitude (and gifts!) from our MCC parents and from all of us at MCC we want to say thank you for the gestures. Our partnership between school and home is what helps your children thrive!

Our young toddlers have been learning about the life cycle of a seed this month. What better way to observe this growth than work on our motor skills and plant our very own seeds?

With daily care and patience, our very first leaves have finally sprouted and these toddlers are thrilled!

(Parent tip: A lima bean sealed in a freezer bag with a damp paper towel will sprout in about one week if taped to a sunny window ☀️)

Sewing is one of our Primary students’ favorite works. The nature of the task requires focus and an impressive amount of attention to detail.

Our toddlers love to help out in the kitchen! Involving children in their own food preparation gives them a sense of pride. This is easy to incorporate at home with age appropriate tasks like pouring, mixing, or washing produce.

Love is in the air at MCC 💕

We regularly rotate the works offered in our classrooms to promote independent work and extend the time a child focuses on a task.
