IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
SIGMA-Delta Zeta Chapter has received recognition for our charitable work and for providing valuable community services. SIGMA-Delta Zeta Chapter is a 501C3 Organization and classified by the IRS as Tax Exempt. There are rules and regulations that SIGMA-Delta Zeta Chapter must follow to maintain this status. It is important that SIGMA-Delta Zeta Chapter as a Tax-Exempt Organization follows all applicable rules to avoid penalties and other liabilities.
In addition to being a requirement of 501C3 organizations, SIGMA-Delta Zeta Chapter Bylaws state that chapters cannot participate in candidate endorsement or activities to influence legislation and the chapter shall not participate or intervene in any political campaign on behalf of any candidate for public office.
SIGMA-Delta Zeta Chapter will continue to observe the provisions of the SIGMA Bylaws, Policies and Regulations.
