Help Us Raise the Roof for Custer Christian School! ❤️🏫
Over the past week, the torrential rains have made something very clear: we can no longer patch our way through the problems with our school’s roof.
We have been doing everything we can to maintain and patch the roof as issues arise, but it has reached the point where a major repair is necessary. During the recent heavy rains, water began pouring into our art classroom, and we know we need to act.
For many of you, this building holds a special place in your memories. It has stood in Custer County for many years as the original Custer Elementary School, and many people in our community attended school within these very walls. Today, it continues to serve our community as the home of Custer Christian School.
The estimated cost to repair the roof is approximately $40,000. Unfortunately, we simply do not have the $40,000 in our account right now to pay for this repair, so we are launching our Raise the Roof Fund.
If preserving this piece of Custer County’s history is something you feel led to support, or if you would like to help the Christian school that now calls this building home, we would greatly appreciate your help.
First and foremost, we ask for your prayers. Please pray for provision, wisdom, and for our school as we prepare to welcome our students back.
If you feel led to give, every donation, no matter the amount, will go toward helping us reach our goal and provide a safe, dry place for our students and teachers to learn and grow.
And if you aren’t able to give, sharing this post is another wonderful way to help us reach people who may feel called to support our school.
We are incredibly grateful for the people who continue to pray for, give to, and believe in the mission of Custer Christian School. Please help us Raise the Roof! 🙏❤️
For nearly 90 years, this building has stood as a place of learning, beginning when the Historic Custer School first opened its doors in 1938. Countless…
