💙✨ Meet Your 2026-2027 PTA Vice President ✨💙

Please join us in welcoming Ann Gilley as the Leisure Park PTA Vice President for the 2026-2027 school year!

This will be Ann’s second year serving on the PTA Board, and we are excited to have her continuing in a leadership role. Her dedication to our students, staff, and school community makes her an invaluable part of the Leisure Park family.

Ann and her husband, Tim, are proud parents to Noah, who will be entering 4th grade, and Natalie, who will be starting 3rd grade this fall. When they’re not at school events, you’ll likely find them spending evenings at the baseball fields, cheering on their kids from the sidelines. ⚾️

When she gets a little downtime, Ann enjoys relaxing at home with a good book and a cozy spot in her recliner. 📖💕

Thank you, Ann, for your continued commitment to Leisure Park and our students. We can’t wait to see all the great things you’ll help accomplish this year!

🎉 It’s time to start introducing the Leisure Park PTA Board for the 2026–2027 school year!

First up is PTA President, Jenny Aukerman!

Jenny has been involved with PTA for over six years and has held multiple leadership roles. This will be her second year as PTA President. She’s the proud mom of two, an 8th grader and a 3rd grader at LP.

Many of the students know her as Mrs. A or Mrs. Aukerman because she is also a frequent LP substitute when she’s not in PTA or Mom mode.

Last year, Jenny earned Volunteer of the Year after powering through a mid-year injury without actually slowing down… or sitting down… or really taking the hint. 😅

Heading into 2026–2027, Jenny is back, ready to serve, and fully committed to fewer injuries and the same big heart for LP. Her goal remains simple: support students and staff and help make Leisure Park feel like home.

Leisure Park is truly in her blood, and she’s excited for another great year of community and PTA spirit. 💙

Leisure Park Elementary is excited to have Ms. Kjellsen joining the LP family this fall as she brings her passion for supporting students, families, and teachers to our campus.

Ms. Kjellsen is a proud Broken Arrow graduate and an Oklahoma State University alumna … Go Pokes! 🤠 She previously served students at Sequoyah Middle School for five years and at SEGA for one year before making her way to Leisure Park.

She is also a proud mom of two little girls who will be attending Leisure Park alongside her this year, making this new chapter even more special for their family.

We are so excited for our students and staff to get to know Ms. Kjellsen and cannot wait to see the positive impact she will make at LP! 🍎✨

🎉💙 What a way to wrap up the school year at Leisure Park Elementary! 💙🎉

It might be a little late, but sometimes the work of the heart takes a little extra time. ❤️

Our last week of school was PACKED with fun, laughter, memories, and so much joy!

Yesterday we wrapped up our duct tape fundraiser and officially taped Coach McIlvain to the wall! 😂🩶 Students who sent in money got the chance to participate, and we even had a few extra special helpers join in on the fun. Our “Student Administration for the Day” winners (our top Color Run fundraisers!) also stepped in as VIP helpers and absolutely rocked it! 👏

And today was Super Kids Day! 🐯🎈
It may have looked a little different this year since we moved everything indoors because of uncertain weather, but the smiles on these kids’ faces say it all. There was SO much joy packed into every hallway, game, and activity today. We couldn’t narrow the memories down to just a few pictures… so enjoy the extra-long video because every smiling face deserved to be seen. ❤️

A HUGE special thank you to Bouncing with Bee's treats LLC. for helping make today extra special with their awesome inflatables! The students had an absolute blast, and we are so thankful for your help in making memories our kids will never forget! 🛝🎉
