"Hello, how are you? My name is Myra Deerinwater, I am 18 years old. I live in Broken Arrow and attend Broken Arrow High School. As a young Mvskoke woman, I want to promote strength, culture, and healing. My platform is Alcohol Prevention because I have seen firsthand how alcohol can take away the people we love and cause us to lose parts of ourselves. I believe prevention begins with education, support, and creating spaces where people feel valued and connected to their culture."

Last Friday, Oneta hosted our 3rd annual Native Games Day. It consisted of Stickball and Archery Tag double elimination tournaments.
