Frank King is an Associate at the Safety Institute (SafetyInstitute.com) and recently was one of the featured presenters for a 10 minute opening keynote at the 2019 VPPPA Conference in New Orleans, LA. His humor was contagious and his information solid concerning the prevention of su***des in the workplace and at home.
Frank presents at not only conferences but is available for corporate safety events to help employees and management recognize signs of someone who might do harm to themselves or others, and what action anyone can take to help. Please take the time to watch this 10 minute video and then contact the Safety Institute to check available dates to have Frank come to your workplace. Click Here to learn from Frank

Good Job Gary! This is a great quote from Gary Sheely, workplace violence expert.
Bosses who bully undercut workplace safety, raise comp costs - Business Insurance Bosses who exhibit bullying behaviors can adversely impact the safety of their workplaces because bullied employees and their colleagues are less likely to engage in safe work practices, experts say.

Dare to Learn About Safety
He is a true fugitive who flies from reason. - Marcus Aurelius
When it comes to creating a workplace where it is difficult to get hurt we sometimes miss the obvious. See something, do something has been a saying that has gone through many workplaces.
If you want to do something about safety you have to be more than passionate, you have to know what you are talking about. If you work in a company that just checks the boxes on safety training then become better than your company, learn.
The web is full of good information that can help you learn and one place is osha.gov. Also, look around for an OSHA 10-30 hour class to take if you have not taken it through your company. Increasing your knowledge about safety can only help you ask the right questions and do the right things to prevent your injuries and others.
Safety is your responsibility first and everyone else’s second. Go out and reason your way by learning, thinking, discussing, and doing.
