No “Summer Slide” for these teachers! Ms. Roberts, Ms. Floyd, Mrs. Shack, Mrs. Freeman, and Mrs. Everidge spent 3 days this week traveling across part of Oklahoma for a professional development training with Ag In the Classroom. They got to explore different ways to bring agriculture into everyday learning for our amazing students. They’re coming back to us at Highland Park with fresh ideas from their behind the scenes tours and hands on learning experiences!

Due to the weather, Super Kids Day will now be indoors. Because of this, we’ve updated our volunteer schedule with new time slots. Students will attend during their regular specials time:
• 5th Grade: 8:50–9:35
• 4th Grade: 9:35–10:20
• 3rd Grade: 10:20–11:05
• Kindergarten: 1:10–1:55
• 1st Grade: 1:55–2:40
• 2nd Grade: 2:40–3:25

With safety and comfort for all in mind, Super Kids Day will be held indoors tomorrow due to the weather forecast. Families are welcome to attend and participate with their student. Please note that each grade level will enjoy the inflatables in the gym only during their scheduled specials time.
