This will be the last post on our Albrecht Elementary Facebook Site. We are moving all Facebook posts to our brand new, redesigned, District site.

We would love to get some additional followers to our District page. We ask visitors to:

The Brodhead School District is pleased to announce that Kelly Knox has been selected as the next principal of Albrecht Elementary School and will be joining the District beginning July 1, 2021. Mrs. Knox will be filling the position vacated by David Novy, who will be moving to the role of Brodhead Superintendent.

Mrs. Knox has 13 years of public school experience, including the last eight years as a second-grade teacher at Parkside Elementary in Monroe, WI. Prior to that, she was a Title 1 interventionist for three years and a second-grade teacher for two years at Hackett Elementary in the Beloit School District.

She obtained her master’s degree from Concordia University and her bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. She also holds licenses as a Reading Teacher and as a Director of Instruction.

At the June 9th meeting, the Brodhead School Board made the decision, effective immediately, that mask-wearing on school grounds will be optional. If your child is attending summer school or attending any events on school grounds, understand that masks will not be required. PLEASE SHARE

Summer school starts today! (Monday, June 7th). Remember to bring your facemask, a healthy snack, and a water bottle for today's hot weather.

Please have your child bring their schedule with them so we can help transition them to their classes.
