Throughout our 2026 Summer Recreation Program, we were so fortunate to collaborate with five amazing local businesses and community services to create special experiences for our kids:

🎨 Face Painting — Glitter & Shine: Celebration Services
🐐 Petting Zoo — M&M’s Family Farm
🚒 A Cool Down & Tons of Fun — Brocton Fire Department
🐕 K9 Demonstration — Deputy Sara Rosario & the Sheriff’s Office
🍧 Slushie Donation — Brocton-Portland Little League

These partnerships are what make our program so special. We are incredibly grateful to each of these organizations for investing their time, talents, and resources into our kids and our community. 💚

Six weeks have gone by so incredibly fast, and it’s hard to believe that today is already our LAST day of the 2026 Summer Recreation Program! 🥹 A few shouot-outs:

To the Village & Trustees:
Thank you for believing in this program and supporting our vision for our community’s kids. Your support has helped make these experiences possible, and we are so grateful for the opportunity to continue building something special for our children and families.

To our Families:
Thank you for your support, patience, communication, and trust. We truly could not do this without you.

To our Incredible Staff: thank you for showing up every day ready to make a difference, create memories, keep our kids safe, and make this summer so special. We are incredibly grateful for each of you.

To our Students:
Thank you for bringing your energy, laughter, personalities, and smiles every single day. You made this summer what it was.

To Deputy Sara Rosario:
Thank you for finding a way to be involved in our program every single day. From helping provide an extra layer of safety during sign-in and sign-out, to spending time with our kids, talking with them, laughing with them, and building genuine relationships, her presence has meant so much to our program.

Thank you for an incredible summer, Brocton!

We are looking for a few parent/guardian volunteers to help chaperone tomorrow’s Waldameer field trip! 🎢

We have 48 students attending, and having additional adult chaperones will allow us to keep groups smaller and provide the safest possible experience for all of our students. 💚

If you are available to join us, please let us know as soon as possible! Your help would be greatly appreciated and will make a BIG difference in helping us keep everyone safe while having an amazing day!

🎉WHAT AN EXCITING WEEK! 🎉

Our 3rd–5th Grade Group had a BLAST jumping around at Elevate Jump Park! 🤸‍♀️ Our 6th–8th Grade Group had a splashin’ good time at Splash Lagoon! 🌊

Our entire program was also treated to a very special K9 Demonstration hosted by Deputy Sara Rosario, who brought along Deputy Aaron Town and K9 Seven! 🐕‍🦺🚔 The kids loved learning about the important work our local law enforcement and K9 partners do in our community. And, of course, we can’t forget the awesome cool-off on Wednesday! With the heat turned up, our friends at the Brocton Fire Department helped us beat the heat with a little shower of their own! ☀️

What a wonderful week filled with laughter, new experiences, friendships, and appreciation! 💚

We are so thankful for everyone who helped make these memories possible! Here’s to another amazing week of Summer Rec! ☀️🎉
