We want to give a special shoutout to our guy Anthony Gatto on an outstanding senior season!

Anthony capped off his career with:
▪️ 355 points
▪️ 226 rebounds
▪️ 135 assists
▪️ 88 steals

And he saved his best for last with a dominant final stretch:

💥 22 pts, 6 reb vs Panama
💥 26 pts, 8 three-pointers vs CLV
💥 17 pts, 6 reb, 4 ast, 7 steals vs Silver Creek

His hard work, leadership, and all-around play made a huge impact all season long. Earning CCAA Division 2 Honorable Mention recognition is a testament to the season he put together!

Another Sunday, another spectacular turnout for our Bulldog Skills Academy! 🐾🏀

Athletes from grades 3–12 continue to show up, put in the work, and get better TOGETHER.

As a coaching staff, we couldn’t be prouder of our athletes for answering the call, bringing the energy, and committing to growth every week.

We’re already looking forward to seeing everyone back in the gym next Sunday!

We’re inviting ANY Brocton boys and girls in grades 3–12 to come join the Bulldog basketball family, whether you’re just starting out or looking to keep developing your game. These Sunday clinics will focus on skill development, fundamentals, and basketball IQ, all led by our very own BCS coaches.

Definition: The ability to withstand adversity, adapt to challenges, and recover stronger after setbacks; mental and emotional toughness shown through persistence, effort, and growth despite obstacles.

That resilience was on full display last night as the Bulldogs picked up an impressive 47–23 win over Silver Creek to cap off the season on a high note. This group stayed together, trusted the process, and competed for one another from start to finish!

Coach Pritchard summed it up best: “I can’t thank our players enough for giving me everything they had all season. Their effort, commitment, and growth never wavered. And to our fans, thank you for always showing up and supporting us. It means more than you know.”

A special shout out goes out to our seniors your hard work and commitment to basketball will carry over far beyond the court and help shape you into outstanding young men in the game of life.

🎉 Huge Shoutout to Anthony Gatto! 🎉

Anthony is the epitome of what our program stands for. He’s a true student-athlete in every sense of the word.

From the classroom to the field, he demonstrates:

Trust: teammates and coaches know he’s dependable

Togetherness: he brings unity and spirit to the group

Accountability: he leads by example and owns his role

Anthony doesn’t just play the game, he lives our values every day. We are beyond proud to have him representing our program! 🙌🔥

Westfield-Mayville Rotary Club Scholar of the Month December, 2025

Anthony Gatto is a senior, who received the Westfield-Mayville Rotary Student of the Month
representing Brocton Central School. He is the son of Dave and Cathy Gatto and younger brother of Aiden Gatto, all of Brocton, New York. Anthony is currently enrolled into the Conservation and Natural Resources Boces program at the Loguidace center in Fredonia, where he has maintained a current cumulative average of a 95.00 which ranks #1 in his class at Boces.

In Anthony’s junior year he received the Fredrick L. Hoyle scholarship award from Keuka College. He was also selected to Brocton schools National Honor Society in June of that same year, after being in the National Junior Honor Society his freshman and sophomore year, where he has volunteered and completed many community service projects. Anthony is also a part of the National Technical Honor Society at the Loguidace center for Boces.

Anthony has served as the Treasurer for his class all 4 years of high school. Anthony also serves as the Secretary of the National Honor Society at Brocton. Anthony participated in the band for 6 years. He is a part of the Conservation Envirothon team at Boces which events will take place in January and April.

Anthony plays a major role in the Athletics at Brocton. He has served on the varsity soccer and basketball team for 3 years, being captain in both his Junior and Senior seasons of both sports. He also has been a part of the varsity baseball team at Brocton to which he has been a member of since his 8th grade year. He has achieved numerous awards for all sports, a couple include a first team division all star and a part of the Small School all Western New York soccer team, his senior season.

In Anthony's junior season in baseball he was selected as a first team division all star, the
all Western New York Team, and was a part of the Class D New York State all State Team, as a
Center Fielder.

As Anthony has gotten older and has grown in school and athletics he has learned and grown to be accountable, respectful, always give 100% effort and have a positive attitude. All of these different character traits have shaped Anthony into the young adult that he is today. Anthony enjoys the outdoors and spends a lot of his time hunting and fishing with his Dad, brother and friends.

In his future, he wants to get his CDL license and start a career with the New York State Department of Transportation.
