I wanted to let you know about another amazing event that our great public servants in the Boxer Outreach Club completed.
Over the past few years, the club has collaborated with the Parks Department who have provided the yard supplies for this service project. We are so grateful for them for allowing us to use their supplies year after year!
In addition to the Parks Department, this year we were able to collaborate with the Health and Human Services Department who came and gave the club members tips on how to stay safe from insect bites during their time in the park. They brought student Tick Kits and handed them out at our meeting prior to our cleanup.
On our event date, we totaled 22 students willing to step out and clean D.W. Field Park! The Boxer Outreach members who attended were a diverse, multi-cultural group which also ranged from freshmen to seniors, showing the unity and diversity we have at BHS! By the end of the event, 10 bags of trash were collected around the Thirty Acre Pond side of the park. As always, it was a job well done!
Thanks again to all of our partners here at BHS as well as in the Greater Brockton Community!
