Step into Ancient Rome! 🏛️📜

The students of Latin II and III brought history to life by hosting a museum of famous Roman authors, portraying their figures in the first person and sharing their stories, writings, and legacies. Featured authors included Julius Caesar, Ovid, Catullus, Horace, Virgil, Pliny, Saint Jerome, and Saint Augustine. An impressive showcase of creativity, research, and classical learning!

Although our seniors have officially graduated, we wanted to take a moment to spotlight and congratulate Cole Mannion ’26 on his commitment to Harvard University! 🎓

Cole has made a lasting impact at Cardinal Spellman High School with his contributions to our theater program as both a cast member and stage manager, House Knowlton Captain, and member of NHS.

He has earned various awards, including AP Scholar with Distinction, the University of Rochester Book Award, and two College Board National Recognition Program Awards, all of which reflect the dedication and leadership he brought to our community each day.

Congratulations, Cole! We are so proud of you and cannot wait to see all that you accomplish at Harvard and beyond.

It was a special night at the Brockton Rox game this weekend as members of our baseball team had the honor of joining Archbishop Henning on the field to throw out the ceremonial first pitch. ⚾️

Before the game, the Archbishop took time to pray with the players and share in the evening with our Spellman community. It was also great to welcome several alumni to the game, giving them the opportunity to reconnect with the school and spend time with President Dan Hodes.

Later in the fifth inning, Karina Carey ’29 delivered a beautiful rendition of “God Bless America.” 🇺🇸
