📚🎒 It's that time of year again! 🎒📚
Please join Joyce Asack Ward 6 School Committee for the 11th Annual Brockton Public Schools Backpack Giveaway as we help prepare our students for a successful school year!
This year, we will be distributing 6,500 backpacks filled with school supplies to Brockton Public Schools students.

Joyce is looking for volunteers to assist with setup, backpack distribution, and cleanup. If you're available to help, please contact her directly at [email protected]
🍕💧 Want to Support Our Volunteers?
Many asked last year how you could help, and we truly appreciate it! If you'd like to support our volunteers by donating food, snacks, or drinks—or if you know of a local business interested in sponsoring the event—please let Joyce know.
Some of our current needs include:
💧 8/10 cases of bottled water
🍪🍫 Individually wrapped snacks (chips, cookies, candy)
🍕 Approximately 15/20 either large or bar size pizza
Backpacks are scheduled to be delivered that morning, and we anticipate beginning setup at approximately 11:00 a.m., with distribution starting promptly at 1:00 p.m.

Every year, this event is made successful because of our incredible volunteers, sponsors, and community partners. Thank you for helping us make a difference for Brockton's students and families. We hope to see you there!
