💙 **A Meaningful Week at BHSON** 🩺
This week marked an important milestone for our students as both our freshmen and seniors completed their first exams of the semester. Whether you are just beginning your journey at BHSON or preparing for your final year to come to a close, every exam, clinical, lesson, and challenge is helping prepare you for something much bigger.
This week also brought a solemn reminder of *why* the work of preparing future nurses matters.
As we remember September 11, 2001, we honor the first responders, nurses, physicians, healthcare professionals, and ordinary people who stepped forward in extraordinary circumstances to care for others.
Our students are preparing to enter a profession built upon that same commitment to service: to remain compassionate when someone is afraid, to think clearly when circumstances are difficult, and to show up when people need care the most.
So to our freshmen and seniors: be proud of completing those first exams. Each step is preparing you not only to become an RN, but to someday be the person someone else is incredibly grateful was there. 💙
We remember. We honor. And we continue preparing the next generation of nurses to care for others when it matters most. 🇺🇸🩺
