Meet Teen Parenting Navigators (TPN) — founded in 2024 to support young parents as they navigate the ups and downs of parenthood. We provide practical resources, peer support, and family-centered programming so new and young families can thrive.

What we do
- Connect parents with local services (healthcare, childcare, housing, education and employment resources)
- Offer peer mentoring, workshops, and parenting education
- Host family-focused events that build community and strengthen family bonds
- Provide small emergency supports and referrals when families need immediate help

Where we’re headed
- Regular family nights and seasonal celebrations to bring parents and children together
- Parenting classes (infant care, toddler development, budgeting and career planning)
- Pop-up resource fairs with partner agencies for on-site enrollment and information
- A mentoring program matching experienced young parents with those newly navigating parenthood
- Expanded volunteer and donation drives to support emergency needs and program growth

Broadview is stepping confidently into a future of financial empowerment and opportunity. I am proud to share that the Village of Broadview has been awarded a grant to support financial education and resources for our residents.

This initiative will help our community build generational wealth, strengthen financial habits, and gain access to tools that promote stability and prosperity.

Through workshops, coaching, and access to expert guidance, our residents will receive support in key areas including:
1. Budgeting & saving
2. Credit building & debt reduction
3. Homeownership preparation
4. Small business financial planning
5. Understanding investments & long-term planning

Financial knowledge is power and we are making sure Broadview families have the knowledge, tools, and confidence to rise.
