We’ve made some changes due to COVID-19
Hello to all my CGA valued customers! I just want to say that I have missed you and your pets more than you can imagine. It has been a very sad 6 weeks being closed, but it looks like May 12th will be our official reopening date! This is tentative of course on how phase one and two go, but we are hopeful!
I will begin scheduling appointments May 9th and 10th. This is to give the governor as much time as possible if the open date were to change, and avoid unnecessary rescheduling. I have kept track of everyone who has been calling and texting for appointments, and I promise I will get back to you as soon as I can.
We want things to go back to normal as quickly as possible, however with COVID-19 still present that is not an option. I will list all mandatory procedures for drop off, pick up, and payment for your appointments. These are the guidelines that were presented by the Ohio Professional Pet Groomers Association, and follow all of Mike DeWine's Responsible Restart Ohio Protocols. While this may seem extreme, the safety and health of my students, staff, and my customers are my top priority. Thank you for your cooperation and continued support of the CGA.
What we are doing to keep our students and clients safe:
• If you feel sick, please let us know immediately. We will cancel your appointment and re-book you as a first priority.
• Every customer must be wearing a mask when dropping off and picking up their pet.
• We will now be offering 'curbside pick up'. Once you arrive to your appointment, please park and call the school number to notify our students you are here. We will come to your car and hand you a slip lead to place on your dog. These slip leads prevent the dog from slipping out of a collar, and allow us to safely bring them inside the building.
• We will not be taking any leashes, collars, or sweaters at this time.
• Once your dog's spa day is complete we will call you and give an exact time of pick up. Generally haircuts are done within 2.5 hours, and bath and brush services are done within 1.5 hours.
• All payments must be made over the phone. We will not be accepting cash or checks at this time. If you would like to leave a tip for your student groomer, please let us know during checkout.
• When you arrive to pick up your pet, call the school number and we will bring the dog out to you.
• I encourage all clients to pre-book appointments if necessary. Due to these extra precautions to keep us safe, the CGA will be taking less dogs per day. This may keep us booked out for a few weeks at a time.
What we are doing to keep your pets safe:
• Once your pet is inside they will immediately be taken to the tub for bathing.
• Your pet will never come in contact with another client's pet.
• Cages are thoroughly disinfected between each dog.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us through email, call or text.
Stay safe and healthy everyone, we will get through this together!
