Welcome to The Goddard School of Broadview Heights! I am so proud of the incredible administrative team that leads our school every day, and I want you to get to know them!

Here's what makes this team special:

We are all in the building full time. When you walk through our doors, you'll be greeted by familiar faces who know your child, know your family, and are here every day to support you both.

Every member of our admin team started as a teacher, including myself! We have been in the classrooms, sung the songs, tied the shoes, and celebrated the milestones. That experience shapes everything we do, from supporting our teachers to making sure every child feels seen and loved.

Our school is our family. These relationships run deep, and we can't wait to welcome you and your little ones into our Goddard family, too.

Our toddlers put their creativity to work by building houses using a variety of geometric shapes! As they added each shape to their collages, they practiced identifying and naming the shapes while arranging them in ways that resembled their own homes as accurately as possible. This STEAM activity was a wonderful way to strengthen shape recognition, spatial awareness, fine-motor skills, and creativity! 💙✂️✨

Kindergarten readiness can show up in everyday moments, not just big milestones. A few signals to notice:

1. They’re building confidence to try things independently. Examples: walking into a room first, asking for help, or giving something new a try.

2. They’re starting to recognize the letters in their name, even if they’re not reading just yet.

3. They’re showing care and responsibility at home. This could include things like helping pack a bag, feeding a pet, putting away toys, or getting through part of their routine with a little more ease.

Every child grows at their own pace - and readiness looks different for every family. Their preschool teachers can be a great partner in noticing strengths, celebrating progress, and helping you think through what comes next.
