Broaddus ISD Communication App Reminder
Parents and guardians should have received an invitation link by text message to join our school communication platform. Currently, only 40% of the parents and guardians listed in Ascender have accepted invitations.
Participation is voluntary, but we strongly encourage you to accept the invitation so you can stay informed about important school news, announcements, events, and updates.
Once you accept, simply use the Broaddus ISD app to access the platform. You will receive notifications or text messages for new posts based on the notification settings you select in the app.
Please check your text messages and accept your invitation today!
(Note from IT Department: “I have found the reason why some parents didn’t receive an invite. The most common issue occurs when parents have multiple children registered and there are differences in the parent's contact information that was entered for each student, such as a name change, spelling error, different email address, etc. These inconsistencies cause an error and prevent the parent from being synced. We now have the full error logs, which show us everyone whose information needs to be updated. We will be working throughout this week to make those updates and will periodically resend invitations. There are a lot of changes that need to be made, so please bear with us. Thank you for your understanding!”)
