The Fauquier Education Foundation held the 2026 Superintendent's Scramble on Thursday, June 11.
In total 30 teams registered.

In case you missed it, in October, students at Coleman elementary school read the book Spookily in class and were sent home with papers to design their own unique pumpkin. On Halloween day, students, parents, and teachers had a Spookily creation celebration. Together they brought the students spookily pumpkin designs to life.
Summer STEAM is next week! Come out to one of our three STEAM events. We will have STEAM activities for all ages; you can bring the whole family. Come learn something new and challenge your brain. All three events will be from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. We hope to see you there!

This Sunday June 7 is Kids Day at the Flying Circus. There will be fun for the whole family, including and air show at 2:30. This event is free for all kids under the age of 18. This is a great way to kick off summer break!

In case you missed it, on October 28, the young women of Southeastern Alternative School attended the Women’s Business Council Luncheon with guest speaker Jeanian Clark, Vice President of Workforce Development at Laurel Ridge Community College. SAS students engaged with a diverse group of local professionals, explored shared interests, and gained insight into various career paths. This was an amazing opportunity that our Southeastern Alternative School students had this past school year.

On Wednesday May 27, 2026, our students from Southeastern Alternative School presented their semester long projects in their annual PBL Symposium. These students have worked so hard this past semester on these projects, and we are so proud of them and all their hard work.
