Congratulations to Ana, our April Student of the Month! Ana is an ESL student who works hard learning and practicing English while building connections within her community. She constantly prepares and shares dishes from her home country with classmates and staff and organized a clothing collection for the Agape House to help those in need. Ana’s kindness, generosity, and dedication make her truly deserving of this recognition.

This past Tuesday, some of our ESL students took a field trip to the First Company Governor’s Foot Guard to see Circus Fire presented by TheaterWorks Hartford. The play shared the true story of the tragic circus fire that took place in Hartford in 1944.

Before the show, students were also able to enjoy free pizza and drinks provided by The Brownstone.

Our last Sugar Cookie Decorating w/Royal Icing class until the fall!! Come join us for a fun night out on Tuesday, May 12th at 6:00 PM, the theme will be By the Sea! Cost of the class is $40.00 and the price includes registration and material fees.
