Roger Williams University is opening doors for Girl Scouts who are making a difference in their communities!

Through our partnership with Girl Scouts of Southeastern New England (GSSNE), eligible Gold Award recipients who meet RWU’s admission requirements will receive conditional direct admission to our undergraduate programs and be eligible for our highest-value merit scholarship.

Girl Scouts’ highest honor, the Gold Award is earned by fewer than two percent of Girl Scouts nationwide, including just 15 to 20 in our region each year. It recognizes young leaders whose initiative and service create lasting community change.

We’re proud to recognize their accomplishments and help them take their next step at RWU.
Know a Gold Award recipient? Share this opportunity with them!

The Rhode Island coast makes a pretty great classroom. 🌊
Professor Brian Wysor’s Marine Phycology students visited Fort Wetherill to collect and identify seaweed, putting what they’ve learned in class into practice in the field.

Campus came alive Friday night for Noche Latina as students gathered to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with great food, music, dancing and plenty of fun. It was a special night honoring the cultures and traditions that bring our RWU community together.

A big thank you to HALSA, MSU, First Gen, WOCC and HAWES for making it happen, and to everyone who came out to celebrate! 💃
