We are thrilled to announce that multiple of our CTE programs are represented in the Youth Exhibition at the Appalachian Fair. The fair starts tomorrow, August 22nd and ends on Saturday, August 29th. We are very proud of our students and teachers in the cosmetology, marketing, digital arts, and health science programs for participating this year. Be sure to drop by the career and technical building to see the winners. GO VIKINGS!

Welcome Mr. Kevin Worley! He will serve as our Work-Based Learning Coordinator in the CTE Program.

This is Mr. Worley's 17th year teaching and serving the community. He believes that connecting classroom instruction with real-world experiences equips students with the technical knowledge, professional skills, and confidence needed for success in college, careers, and life.

We are so excited to have him on our team!

Our THS CTE social media marketing team celebrated the end of the school year with a fun walking field trip to the Pauly Wally Wiener Wagon. We enjoyed some delicious hot dogs! Our spring 2026 social media marketing team is signing out.... have a great summer!

Marketing students in the third-level class, Social Media Marketing and Analytics, concluded their year with a fun walking field trip to Bristol Berry Bowls. Students got to enjoy their bowls and take pictures to share on social media!

Congratulations to our JV Robotics team (The Nordic Navigators) for winning 1st place at their competition last Saturday! The team competed in Morristown, TN, and consisted of 8 freshmen, 1 sophomore, and 1 senior, who were all new to robotics. Congratulations!

Bill McLaughlin has taught auto mechanics at Tennessee High School for 5 years. He teaches 7 different Classes including: Main light repair and six dual enrollment classes. Students in the dual enrollment classes get hours toward TCAT (Tennessee College of Applied Technology) and an opportunity to get promoted on the waiting list to attend TCAT. In his classes, students get certified in basic tools, multimeters, and electrical circuits. Before becoming a teacher, Mr. McLaughlin worked in the automotive industry for over 37 years. Thank you for all you do for your students!!!!
