It is with a bittersweet heart that we had our final farewell to the last group of students at Highland View Elementary. We wanted to share the end of the year video to all of you who understand the impact of this building. Thank you for the memories. We will always remember you.

Hello all!!

We wanted to give everyone one more opportunity to share how Highland View has impacted your life through the years. Send in a video sharing your thoughts, feelings, experiences by 5 p.m. Friday to be featured in the Highland View through the Eras video!! And be sure to join us to walk through the school one last time, Tuesday, April 9th from 6-7. We can’t wait to reminisce with you!

WOW!!! We are overwhelmed and so excited about the response this page has gotten so far. It has been amazing reading the comments, looking through the pictures and getting to reminisce with you all about the unforgettable memories this building holds.

If you would like to, please send in a video, (no more than 45 seconds) telling us what this school means to you, your fav memory, etc. This content will be used to create a video to display during our final get together on April 9, we will also share it to this page once its complete. Thank you all so much!!

With the school year coming to an end, we are approaching the opening of the two new Elementary Schools for Bristol, Virginia. With that we must say goodbye to schools that have had a huge impact to our community through the decades. We will be hosting a celebration for Highland View Elementary so that community members can do a final walk through of the school.

This will happen on April 9th from 6:00-7:00 p.m. During this event we will have a video displayed of people speaking to how Highland View has impacted them.

We invite you to send in a brief video any old photos, etc. no more than 45 seconds to a minute long, telling us what Highland View means to you, your favorite memories, anything that comes to mind. You can send this content directly to this page, through messenger or via email.
