It is a multi-phased project that will begin with an ambitious Stormwater Management project and will grow to include a an Outdoor Classroom, a Nature Trail, a School Garden and more. I was leaving today and a few 1st graders asked me to please stay after school and take them to w**d and water the garden! How could I say no? We have a lot of calendula growing from reseeding and sunflowers that Mrs. Kirwin's class planted. A couple of teachers are planning to plant a few things this week with their classes too!

Tomorrow is Earth Day but you dont have to wait! Do something to make a difference for Earth Day this year! Plant a tree, clean out a brook, pick up trash along a road, have your furnace serviced, tune up your car, try no electronics for a day! Whatever you can do to help clean-up the air, water and ground. We are the stewards of this planet!
