What an incredible summer welcoming the Roger Williams University Class of 2030!
This year, President Brian Williams challenged our RWU community to think differently about how we welcome our newest Hawks and their families. By partnering with our Parent & Family Leadership Council and President's Board of Advisors, we created meaningful opportunities for incoming families to connect with one another before Move-In Day.
From a beautiful evening at The Langham in Boston, to an unforgettable gathering at Debra Stokes '79 and Robert Kaplan's home in Rye, New York, to a fun-filled pickleball party hosted by Cassie and Eric Hogenkamp Pโ29 in Chicago, our newest Hawks experienced firsthand what makes the RWU community so special: a genuine sense of belonging.
A heartfelt thank you to our generous hosts, alumni, volunteers, Parent & Family Leadership Council members, President's Board of Advisors, Trustees, faculty, staff, and everyone who helped make these events such a success. Your hospitality and enthusiasm helped our incoming students and families feel at home before they even stepped on campus.
To the Class of 2030, welcome to the Hawk family! We can't wait to see you on campus.
Families, be sure to stop by the Parent & Family Leadership Council Welcome Center on Move-In Day. We look forward to meeting you and officially welcoming you to Roger Williams University!
