As a newly combined school, we are committed to building a community of diverse learners and productive, responsible citizens.
We will focus on student success by instructing each student based on their individual talents, abilities, and strengths. At FairmountElementary School We Believe:
· Each student has the potential to grow and learn as an individual with unique talents and abilities.
· Students and teachers must have a safe, healthy, and secure place to work and learn for the support of physical growth, social maturity, and academic success.
· Students must be provided with research-based instructional approaches with collaborative decision-making from teachers, students, parents, support staff, and other members of the school community.
· The design of our learning program will help to maximize student success with proficiency in all academic areas and to ensure that each student achieve adequate yearly progress.
· Every student should be treated with respect and dignity and guided toward making decisions that demonstrate positive character traits: trustworthiness, responsibility, respect, fairness, caring, and citizenship.
